Zion First African Baptist Church is a family-oriented, Bible-based and Spirit-led church where we seek to be disciples of the Lord according to God’s Word. We seek to evangelize the lost, edify the saints, and exalt the Savior. God
has blessed Mount Zion, and in July 2003, He led us to march into our
new facilities located at 105 Lankford Avenue. The Church has a burning
desire to please the Savior in all that it does as He directs us to
new heights-- with a heart for the lost, a love for the family, and
a deep abiding concern for education. Mt. Zion First African Baptist
Church will continue looking to the Lord for direction. As Paul writes
to the Philippians 1:6 "Being confident of this very thing, that
he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day
of Jesus Christ:" We are continuing to experience the moving of
the Holy Spirit. We are witnessing the transforming power of Jesus Christ
daily as souls are added to the number. |
